About Us
Myotherapist Shannyn Trevorah opened Proactive Myotherapy in Emerald in May 2009, alongside podiatrist Lisa Merrett. Shannyn then extended her business opening a second practice in Pakenham in April 2011. In 2015, the clinic shifted from Pakenham to Beaconsfield and from 2018 Proactive Myotherapy has congregated into one practice in Emerald.
Shannyn has completed the highest qualification within the discipline of myotherapy – a four year Bachelor of Health Science degree at Southern School of Natural Therapies, qualifing as a Clinical Myotherapist.
She has previously worked with Richmond Football Club for two and a half years in the post-injury and injury prevention areas. She has also returned to Southern School of Natural therapies as a Lecturer for a 2nd year subject for 2 years. She has also done voluntary work with Oxfam.
Shannyn’s passion is to find the cause of any problem and work with her client to resolve their pain and give them the best quality of life.
